This carousel is great. Over 100 years old and in beautiful condition. A ride is only $3. It's right next to the zoo. They have a cute snack bar with large water bottles for $3. It's a nice place to sit and watch the people (and horses) go by.
Amazing views! Reminds me Claude Monet’s painting!!!
Google Maps, in its infinite wisdom, just prompted me to review the Prospect Park Carousel. I mean, I'm sure everyone's been on tenterhooks, anxiously awaiting my groundbreaking insights on those timeless, round-and-round-going horses. Perhaps they've suddenly evolved to gallop or, heaven forbid, trot backwards? Well, fear not world, for I am here to provide the essential commentary only I can offer on this ever-revolving relic of joy.
My grandson had his 4 th birthday their. I highly recommend the Carousel.
A lovely tranquil park to hang out, go jogging/cycling, take your kids for a picnic, give them a ride on the carousel, walk your dog, host an outdoor celebration and many more fun activities.
A historic gem. Sitting near the zoo in the children’s corner. The carousel is lovely and well-maintained. Also, it played carnival renditions of Abba songs which is bonus points in my book 😄 …
Fun, right next to the zoo, and in Brooklyn’s best park! Charming little family fun for all
Great economical family fun activity. We went during their Halloween event and it was a fun activity for our little one. Just be mindful when choosing where to sit- some horses move up and down and others are stationary.
